Oak Grove Elementary School is located on the west side of Porterville in rural Tulare County, in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley.  Oak Grove serves students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade, and is one of eight schools comprising the Burton School District.

Oak Grove Elementary School students are encouraged to “reach for the stars” to achieve both academic and behavioral goals. Students are held to high expectations for academic achievement and outstanding behavior. Students are encouraged to always do their best, and there are many opportunities for students to be rewarded for demonstrating responsible behaviors.
